Local stores help stop the spread of diease

Just about all the chain grocery stores have disinfectant wipes to clean germs form surfaces that are often handled by the public, like carts and baskets, usually located just inside the entry. Use them!

But we all can help prevent the spread of this disease by frequent hand washing, keeping your hands off your face and if you are sick STAY HOME!

And learn how to properly cough and sneeze. Proper techniques will help keep us all healthier:

So much is in the news about the N1H1 flu strain it can be pretty scary.

Owner sleeping in gas station to prevent burglaries

Sheriff's deputies believe three juvenile males burglarized a Chevron gas station on River Road last week.

The owner has video that shows three suspects covered in hats and hoods smashing the windows to the Chevron gas station on River Road.

The incidents happened at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday and 5:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

The suspects made off with beer and cigarettes. "It's more than money," said Danny Singh, owner of this Chevron branch. "It's terrorizing to me."

Singh now sleeps on the floor of his office, scared it might happen again.

"It bothers you 24 hours," he said. "They can come back at any time and do it again."
